SVHS Donates Handmade Playhouse to Crisis Nursery

Students in Joni and Emilee's childhood education class visited the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery and came away wanting to help the center.  They chose a project that would mean fundraising, acquiring the advice of a professional builder, and many, many hours of manual labor.  They worked together to build and decorate a playhouse that would be permanently installed in the yard at the center.  Thanks to donated man power and equipment from Strateline Crane Company, the little house was moved across Spokane and into place at Vanessa Behan Nursery.  The house will be enjoyed for years to come by the children who spend time at the nursery.
