Teacher receives Chamber award

A teacher at DHHS since 2010, Molly earned a BA in physics and natural history followed by a masters in education and has taught in Colorado and Alaska. On the DHHS website, she shared that she loves the relationships she has built with DHHS students, relationships that are stronger than the ones she had in her time at a comprehensive high school.

“I have the best job in the world,” she wrote. “My goal is to push students past their comfort zones and to places they didn’t know they could reach mathematically.”

Superintendent Kyle Rydell and DHHS Principal Lauren House shared words of appreciation before the group which included her family, district staff and board members. Congratulations, Molly, and thank you for investing so deeply in your students!
