WVSD app phasing out
The West Valley School District app will not be accessible in the near future, due to a transition in vendors. There are other alternatives to keep you in the know!
WVSD honors MLK Day on Jan. 19
In honor of the contributions of Martin Luther King Jr., there will be no school on Monday, January 19. District offices will also be closed.
Stay informed of schedule changes
If WVSD has to issue a delay or closure due to inclement weather, families will be informed by 6 a.m. via automated phone call, text and email. Notification will also be posted on social media sites as well as our website, wvsd.org, as soon as a decision is made.
Two-hour delay for WVSD - 1/8/26
Due to snow in our area, all WVSD schools will start two hours late today (Jan. 8). Schools will start two hours later than normal school hours. School buses will also be running two hours late from the normal pick-up time.
Winter Break coming soon
All West Valley schools will be closed for Winter Break December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026.

Gift card drive for WVSD youth
Our HEART Program is hosting a gift card drive for unaccompanied youth where others can donate cards in the amount of $50 or less.
