Air quality and school activities
West Valley School District follows guidance from the WA State Department of Health regarding air quality. The district and its schools use AirNow.gov to determine air quality in our area.
Media opt-out for students
Our district honors the desires of a parent/guardian to opt out a student from being photographed or featured in the media (which includes website, social media or anything beyond use within the school).
Schools closed on September 1
Due to the Labor Day holiday, all schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, September 1.
Friday is late start day for schools
Most WVSD schools start an hour later on Fridays to allow for staff to meet in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to collaborate on how to help every student achieve. For a list of late arrival times by school, click the header.
