No school on May 24 & 27
There will be no school for students on Friday, May 24 (unused snow makeup day) in addition to Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. All school and district offices will be closed.
Pesticide application May 18-19
West Valley School District will be spraying pesticide on all school grounds during the May 18-19 weekend, weather permitting.
Supplies provided for many WVSD students
The West Valley School District will provide basic supplies for in-person elementary and middle school students during the 2024-25 school year.
WV Education Foundation honored
During a Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) Spring Awards Celebration, the West Valley Education Foundation was honored for its work supporting local students and staff.

The Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County are considering hosting a local summer day camp site at Trent Elementary School for students in grades K-6.
